Krisztina

the wine specialist
I started occasionally tasting wine when I was a teenager, and at that time it was not so much the flavours, but the characters behind them and the respectful attitude towards nature that really captured me. Since then, I also became a big fan of the end-product, too. By working at a few major regional players in inbound tourism for over 10 years—both in planning and on-the-ground execution—I gradually built extensive industry experience and a deep understanding of our country’s touristic treasures. Eventually, an inner drive led me to channel all of this into something more down-to-earth and personal.

Anita

the story seeker
I love stories – about people and eras, stories behind buildings and cities – that’s probably why I ended up majoring in history. Travelling, and learning through travelling, has always been my passion, luckily at one point in my life it also became my profession. Hungary has a rich and layered history, to me it’s an endless journey of discovery. And what does wine have to do with all this? I see wine, apart from being a gastronomic delight, as a cultural product that tells so much about a particular place, its people, their past and present. But it’s also the liquid expression of that land’s soil, climate and topography. It’s pure joy to see and taste what winemakers create from these elements time and time again.
